turbo/octane booster problem

Hey all,
I got a bottle of torco fuel additive a little while back and put it in my tank. My WRX now with higher octane responded awesome with my turboback/uppipe/MBC setup. I have heard that dude to the chemicals in the octane booster that, when people switch out downpipes, that they will find an orange substances all over the inside of their catless downpipe. Supposedly this is normal?

However, what I can't see as being normal is the fact that, I looked under my hood today and saw this EXACT same orange colored substance coated around the 'horn' part of my Turbo Xs RFL Blow off Valve. This orange substance was also located on the inside or my hood (where the blow off valve releases air every time it releases).
I don't understand how this orange substance, which is supposedly a bi-product of the ocatane booster being burned, is ended up being fired in minor amounts out of my blow off valve? Shouldn't any and all exhaust particles ONLY be going down the downpipe, and ONLY air from the Intercooler be going out of my Blow Off Valve?
Thank you for any help,
Brian

I'm the guy who saw a bunch of this orange stuff in my downpipe and turbine... and have no clue how it could have made it to your BOV. The only thing I could imagine is that somehow that residue is getting into your blow-by and making its way through the IC and out the BOV... but then, how the heck did it get into your blow-by in the first place? I have a catch can and haven't seen anything out of the ordinary there.

Brian, maybe you were eating an orange popsicle when you put the BOV on.
