They key to making this show work will be cutting Tanner's lines by about 80%.

Tanner is a great driver, but a terrible TV host! I think a lot of it has to do with his voice....too high and girly. He doesn't need to sound like the NFL Films guy, but a little more bass would be worlds better!

Yeah, his cadence makes him sound like he's narrating a documentary, not an infotainment show. Also, when Jeremy throws a car around the track he's just a fat man beating the **** out of a car. When Tanner does it its like he's just showing off his skills... not as funny as a fat man.

I think we just need to keep in mind that the first FEW seasons of Top Gear were horrible until they worked things out, and replaced a few people. Give it time, maybe in a few episodes or next season it will be a pretty damn good show.

Yeah, but by then I was already annoyed. Also the production team; good job doing doughnuts before the high speed passes

I've seen Adam Ferrera do standup and he's freaking hilarious. So being that it's the first episode, I'll give the show the benefit of the doubt and watch a couple more episodes.

As far as a shaky camera, the worst I saw was in the Lambo that Tanner was driving and you could hear him say how much the car was vibrating from trying to get up to 170mph. So the camera shaking was justifing what he was saying.

just seeing the trailer for it was really weak. in the trailer it was a top speed test of the panamera and he just kept shouting the numbers the panamera was going. if they're testing cars right now that top gear did last season, this is looking really ****ing grim for them.

There was way too much explaining done in the show. I would be willing to wager that most people that watched this episode have already seen a couple episodes of the British version already and already get a feel as to what it is about.

They really need to form this into their own show instead of mimicing the British version to a T.

And the bearded guy was my least favorite in the show. I don't feel he really added to it.

I'm willing to give it time. However, I'm not in the market for a enw car, I'm in the market for entertainment, and I'm willing to bet that most of Top Gear's viewers are in the same boat.

One thing I didn't like was the track/camera setup. On the BBC show, there was one area of the track that put the speed into perspective where the tires were located and the car always flys by, this track really didn't have anything like that so it's hard to get an idea of really how fast they are going. I enjoyed watching them abuse the viper, but that was about it. Hopefully it gets better.
