I have used Swepco, SF MTL-R, and Subaru Extra-S. No problem with any of them. Converse to another poster, I actually liked the Extra-S a tiny bit better. Swepco is 80w90 while the Extra-S is 75w-90, and the Extra-S shifted a little bit better the first few shifts when cold.
In summary, either Swepco or the Extra-S will work fine.
Disclaimer: I bought the Extra-S from Bryan! Cool guy!

I've used Valvoline 80w90 dino, the uncle scotty mix, and now subaru extra-s. The extra-s is leaps and bounds better than the other two I've used.
I'm using Mobil1 for the rear.. I heard the rear diff isn't picky on which oil. Is this true? I never bothered to change to the extra-s for the rear.
