Hey Mike! Maybe you should take yours to the dealer in Roseville and see if they will replace it for you since you only had 31k.

p.s. hell you never know...I better be quite...I may be next. lowball <----walking on egg shells.

Your clutch is shot...hence...5 grand for new tranny Do the two actually correlate??? Maybe they should replace the clutch too.

Are they trying to say that since your clutch is shot it caused the tranny to go out and they won't warranty the tranny because of that? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Did you notice clutch issues before your tranny let go?

You may want to get the local Subaru rep involved and see if you get a better response.

I once overheard one mechanic ask another mechanic how to replace the springs when I was buying parts at Shingle Spring Subaru/Nissan.

Sales people seem nice though.

Yeah they could mean that since they see excessive wear on your clutch that they are coming to the conclusions that you have abused your tranny.

My clutch went at 30k and I didnt abuse it. I just taught some people to drive on it. Now the previous owner on the other hand, I dunno.

This is a bit old, but did you get your tranny fixed, at Florin? How is it now? What costs did you end up getting stuck with in the end?
