Track Day fun...
I signed both Silke and I up for the "Hyperdrive" event held by NASA at the track (Infineon) today.
Beforehand, I was out shooting some photos of the groups out there, and found that I got a few good ones. I was experimenting with the continuous mode/slow and came up with a nice little series of photos that I placed into a gif...

I was out yesterday, unfortunately not a good day. First time at infineon so I ran group 1 with an instructor to learn the line
In my third session my *** got tagged by a miata in 11s braking zone :damnit:
But yeah, I saw the 2 foresters pitted during the hyper drive. Did that session get cut short? I know they had to do something to that session cleaning up the oil that got put onto the track
blueblur, do you know if the orange miata who one the spec race got contested? I saw his car in tech/impound post race.

It worked out for her! Nearly 250WHP, and over 310TQ at the wheels.. It worked out that she was laying the smackdown on a 5-series E39... although whenever they got to the corners, I was right up their * coming in faster and hotter...just to have them pull away on the straights.

Miata pics
As Kermit would say, "It ain't easy being green".
A couple of white ones followed by the rotary-powered RX-7.
Well, I guess understeer was well-defined here. The front bumper hit the tire guards, bounced into the wall, and that was the end of his track day. All before noon.

Car Info: this required information?
I thought it had orange wheels, but maybe it just had orange vinyl or something. That is probably him though. He was way off the line, but the car had a ton of power so he was still pulling on people.
As far as I know Randy Evans (orange Miata) still won both races. You get pulled into impound no matter what after the races so that doesn't necessarily mean you did something wrong.
