Do we know what the Subaru version is going to be called? Also FR-S?

With only a 2.0L NA option, I'd bring it to LIC to become an FR-STi

I haven't seen the name for Subaru's production version. I agree with the FR-STI

With a Subaru powerplant, I assumed it'd be the standard Suby 6-speed housing at least (6-speed manual but no mention of DCCD).

its looking like they might call it the 2000 rs subaru registered that name around the same time as fr-s and 86 in Europe

Pretty sure the 6 speed is not the sti tranny.

theres no reason why they would use an AWD transmission in a RWD car. As it is the biggest problem with how our drivetrain is laid out is that 100% of the motor weight is in front of the front axle. if you can eliminate the driven front wheels and front transaxle you can move the whole thing as far back in the engine bay as possible or move the front axle forward as well.

Yea I'm almost certain the actually gearbox part of the drivetrain is not subaru's while I think the diff/rear axle is.

hope you can get the brembos without the body kit, unless it ends up being cf. Doubr body kit would have to be finalized.

seriously, we already know what this car looks like, i dont know why they are still camo-ing it, what did they think we wouldnt be able to tell what car they were testing out their new body kit on??
