So I couldn't handle waiting anymore. I had the chance to buy a Firestone red FR-S and I pulled the trigger. Figured since I'll be tracking the car from time to time that I didnt really need the fancy stuff the BRZ Limited has. Save about 5 grand to. Needless to say I'm very impressed with the car so far and can't wait till its broken in and I can have more fun with it.

damn 5 grand, should only be a 3k difference, but I hear ya. Most that **** will come up used for sale and cheap anyways if you want it later, heated seats etc.

A nice upgrade from my commuter

I don't feel bad for not getting the BRZ, since I've owned a couple AE86s so the Toyota has a little more meaning to me. I'll swap badges to make it a proper GT86 when they come available. But for now I'll just drive it and get used to it. Only upgrade I plan on for the short term is a 08+ WRX rsb and some aftermarket rear endlinks. I'm staying below 4krpm till I get over that 1000 mile mark. Then it's game on
