BRZ orders start Thursday (March 1st)
Cars arrive in May
their aiming for at least 5500 cars for the 2013 model year so shoudnt be too hard to find one (if you dont mind a mark-up)

Through the magic of magic my order is already placed.
The only thing about the order system for this model is it doesn't mean that Subaru will build an extra car for the dealer you order from. It just means that if you're the first car they order then the first car they get will be your order instead of a regularly allocated car.
I'm sure I could explain that better, but I'm too tired.

From what I understand that's exactly it. Orders simply offset your allocation. The 5k number is actually worldwide if what I was told is correct. So it won't be so easy to get. At least assuming that the info I have is accurate (it usually is).

yeah not interested in paying msrp. Cars are pricy and I need more than 150 ft lbs of torque to wow me into buying one at a high ccost. If they were really cheap it'd be one thing. Also given the fact it's Japan,AU,EU,US,GER, Not sure about any other countries? if they only do 5,500 it can't be cost effective unless used as a means to drive cost and desire up in which case poop on subaru.
