Yeah? I was gonna go red but decided this might be a better option that just came out http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=SUB

The Dom4 just came out too http://www.iwsti.com/forums/engine-p...ial-price.html

- So are you doing any headwork besides the cams? I'm assuming you chose Tomei, why'd you choose those over the JUN valvetrain? (curious cause I'm deciding between the two)

yes I know about that gt35 kit and might get it over the red, money really is not the problem I just want whats best for the car and power and for every day driving. Yes I am getting headwork done, I went with the JUN cams and the Tomi header w/ up pipe, then the cosworth forged pistons and rings, APR head studs, and so much more.

Sweet - where are you getting the headwork and what kind of port?

I'm all with you on the daily driver setup since if you weren't DD'ing a lowly WRX you might as well just buy a GenIII Viper and bolt on a supercharger for 700whp or build some crazy 1000hp DSM (I don't get people who build a garage/dyno queen SUBARU of all cars). So I might just watch your car as a guinea pig I'm trying to emulate Mikaust from nasioc's setup, I think he pretty much has the best daily driver wrx setup out there that I've seen.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1559897 <-- the amazing thing is just how little mods he's got (the other guy Dug-e-fresh's car is a DD as well)

Though interestingly he's doing 9:1 comp with near stock shortblock except for pistons and he's using the OEM sti gasket. I was chatting with him and he reckons something like "nobody breaks rods, the stock block failures are all pistons.Building a shortblock hurts daily driving so I didn't want to do it" Although I'm uneasy with his premise when it comes to spending my hard earned money, he was one of the first bugeyes to run 11's and is real into the loop with the TXS guys from the old school days so I really dunno...
