Hey has ne(any) one here caught the flu or ne(any) other type of cold or virus lately...man i thought I could hold it off but guess not...got a huge fever and my stomach is doin its own "twisties" right now...

I think international_b is spreading it around...dangit man!! LOL...

It has landed in San Diego as well. I quarentined my roomate the other day, no good. I'm feeling the sickness today. Damit.

 

go to a health food store, or a GNC, and pick up a box or two of "oscillococcinum", or "oscillo".

It's a homeopathic medicine that works GREAT for the flu!!!

 

I can't even remember the last time I was sick... well sick enough not to work or do what I needed to do at the time...

yep i have it. Saturday night my stomach started hurting and i also drank that night. Woke up sunday really dizzy and my stomach hurt. Thought it was just from drinking but it didn't go away. Stomach hurt all sunday, monday, and i still have it today. I dont have a fever but just stomach pain.

 

yeah it's bad this year. I haven't had the flu, but I have had a really bad cough and found out it was/is bronchitis. It was keeping me from sleeping so I had to go to the doctor.... Couldn't shake the damn thing.

 

Dude, the EXACT same thing happened to me!! I hadn't drank that much on the previous night so I was wondering why I felt like such shat. It wouldn't go away for like three days, it sucked.

 

I had got sick after going up snowboarding the day after thanksgiving, it lasted about 4 days, but I'm all better now :banana:

 

I thought I was gonna get it last wednesday so I spent all day in bed and drank like 15 cups of green tea and either I wasn't coming down with anything, or I killed it. Either way I have been feeling a little better lately.

 

haha serious, i normally drink the amount i had and everytime i wake up i feel fine. But sunday morning i woke up at like 7am for some random reason and it was all bad. to stomach flue or whatever this is. I finally am feeling a little better but whenever i eat i still get an upset stomach.

 

Dang getting the flu sucks, Haven't had it in quite a while, but I've seen on the news this year that there are two new strains that are pretty bad...so guys/gals watch out this year. Oh yeah they also said on the news that they are only giving out the flu immunization to those that are at higher risks, due to the fact that the flu immunizations are running out.

yeah, same here. mine wasn't really like the flu though because there were no cold symptoms associated with it. no blocked sinuses, no mucus, no snot, no nothing. i just felt dizzy and my stomach felt like isht especially when i would try to eat something. i only puked once, but it was a lot.

 

i have been sick, but im not spreading it.

i am pretty sure i am going to the doctor tommorow to get this checked out. I also have no flu symptoms and its just all stomach. Its now 2:30 and im unable to sleep cause of it and i am going to the bath room every other minute This is pretty miserable.
