Tire Wear

Hello, I am just wondering if my tire wear is considered "Normal".
I just looked at my tires today and noticed that the rears are almost bald and the front show very little wear. I have AVS Intermediates and I use them daily and at 2 track events. I have rotated them regulary and did not notice any excessive wear just 2 months ago. Anyway, just wondering if there are any other aggresive drivers out there with similar tire wear?

It also seems funny to grip like an AWD car but wear tires like an RWD car.
Thanks
Scott (pdqwrx)

Underinflation or more likely your alignment is off.

Yup, check tire pressures and go to Auto Innovations and have them check your alignment settings. I think they only charge $30 for a check if you tell them you're from i-club (and probably even if you don't)

Thanks for the suggestions, but I keep the factory recomended tire pressure in both front and rear and the tires are not weraing out unevenly on the tire itself. Itseems as though my car is sending more Tq and Hp to the rear wheels more often. I was under the impression that our cars were more front wheel dr first and more rear wheel dr when the front tires slip, hence the tendency to understeer. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Yup.

I think you need an appointment to autoinnovations.
