ticket for tint and front license plate!! help for write off!

so i was driving on 880 towards oakland with two of my friends. two mazda 6's with tint and no front license plate. i'm driving behind one of them and the other one was behind me. a cop comes out of no where, cuts my friend (who is behind me) off and pulls me over.. i get pulled over while the other two got away with it. wtf!?!?!? just my luck eh? i guess its the jFKLSDJ:F sti wing.

getting down to the point. i need a cop to write off my car now... and i dont really feel like stripping the tint off. so down to the point, does anyone know a cop or is a cop that could write it off for me? it'd be great help, as i dont have the money to get new tint =(

not unless you are very friends with them, they would not jeopardize their career for that...

Yes he is...but he didn't have illegal tint and no front plate.

Point is, life ain't fair, and Holmes was driving a car that had illegal mods.
Too bad, so sad.
That's the price one pays for being "cool."

The cop didn't tint the widows.
The cop didn't remove the front plate.
The cop isn't to blame.

wtf..how do you guys know me? =P

Sorry I was being an ***....long week at work.

But yeah...either way...if you run with silly illegal things on your car...you are bound to get pulled over for them sometime

I dont run a front plate, but im sure as hell not gonna ***** and moan if I get pulled over for it.

probably not gonna happen.

Strip the tint yourself. Toss the front plate on. Get signed off. Pay someone like $80 to retint the front and consider yourself lucky. $90 ticket isn't to bad. If it only happens once a year or less...it's well worth it.

I run no plate and tint as well, I'm sure I'll get popped sooner or later. Already gotten the no front plate a couple times over the year.

Not a big deal until I get into having non legal parts....for those with non legal parts I think it's not wise to run no plates.....speaking from experience. About 16 fix it tickets worth of experience and a couple trips to the state ref.

Yeah...so bite the bullet. Get it taken care of. Don't put a cops job at risk for $90.

rip the tint off and get it signed off. Then get a friend who can tint windows and just redo the fronts. It's not that hard at all. Just takes patience, nothing you can't accomplish on a sunday afternoon.

If you don't want to take off the tint, you can try getting your optometrist to write a note about sensitive eyes.

And for you guys giving him ****, he wrote a WHOLE 5 words that would be close to a complaint. So do everyone a favor and stfu, cuz your useless posts are more annoying

or if you have lifetime warranty on peeling, bubbling, fading, or anything on tint, rip it off, then get your ticket signed off, and go get your windows retinted under warranty
