Thunderhill RallyCross - Online registration for May 15 & 23
The RallyCross season is finally within sight.
The 2004 Dates: May 15, May 23, June 26, July 31, and October 24. Online registration is now open for the two May events:
http://www.sfrscca.org/RallyX/registration.htm
If you haven't attended a RallyCross and you'd like to have some fun in the dirt (in a safe, controlled area), this is exactly what you've been waiting for! SCCA membership not required.
http://www.sfrscca.org/RallyX/
Also, note that we have 2 new classes this year, Street Stock Modified 2WD and Street Stock Modified 4WD. Complete information on the new classes is available here. The quick version: the only modifications allowed in 'Street Stock' are:
(1) an upgraded air filter
(2) a cat-back exhaust
(3) an upgraded ECU.
Anything else puts you in Modified (aftermarket stuff like MBCs, up/down pipes, BOVs, 3/16ths mod, short shifter, any suspension mods, etc, etc). Beyond that, the only difference between Modified and Open is the use of rally tires (non-circumferiential sipes > 0.22 inches in width).

Car Info: 12 Impreza Wagon, RIP 91 Honda Civic Wagon :(
Only two months to go!
I have a 2wd Honda that I've modified ... engine swap, header, short ram, custom exhaust, Quaife LSD ... so would I be in Street Stock MODIFIED 2wd?
Thanks,
Jane
