I'm sorry, despite this has been said in the past, still, "ethics gentlemen" isn't even worth being a thread. Please, next time post more info I just hate the fact that you started a thread and didn't bother to put information in it and made people beg for it. Sorry, no hate, just... Yea. Heh, sorry ^^

First of all, he offered $120 off the asking price ($680 is what he offered)..they are the ones who came up with $650 to come and pick up RIGHT NOW.

$800 Shipped paid via paypal was their asking price.

Shipping is not cheap on exhaust, there a few pieces and shipping does add up.

He went with cash in hand so considering the amount they save on paypal fees and shipping $680 doesn't seem so bad now does it?

Zoeb, so if i picked up some rota torques, i can get about 120 if not more off the shipped price? i think the 4 rims weigh more than the exhust, and they are in 4 seperate boxes. I dunno, just a thought, mebbe i should save up for some of those torques.

no flame intended.

700 - 120 = 580?

oh yea, so pickup price = 20 % off shipped price is about right? that's my understanding so far.

would it really cost alot to ship something less than 3 miles? i can walk to the freemont city limits from rishies shop in about 10 minutes, and get a milk shake in the process. i mean its so close, they probably would just take the truck out for 5 mins to make the delivery!!!

you see rota torques are also in high demand, so take that into consideration ;o

cuz hyperblack is the sexy

and autornd imo just tried to sucker someone just to get them into the shop, then charge them a higher price THINKING they would still want it... but hey... thats just my pessimistic idea

and rowrepp, if i lived in LA, then what? either way, shipping from a vendor is usually done via a courier like fed ex... not out of a their own truck

that i disagree on.

Its like saying if u mail a letter down 3 blocks, is that any cheaper than mailing it two cities away?

shipping distance does matter, but at the same time, when u hire someone to do work, it's not cheap, period.

im am friends with alot of the guys at the shop and they do not rip people off. they have better things to do with their time than to try and scam a few bucks off a brat.
