Thinking of stepping down to an '06 Wagon..

I went looking at Carlsen and didn't see much. I have been thinking about selling my RS coupe and my SAAB wagon and replacing both with a steel grey metallic '06 wagon. The only drawback is the RS because I love the 2door and I just spent a lot of money on misc parts/mods on the car. I was thinking an '06 because it has the 2.5L, brakes, better lights and such. Looks like somewhere around $23.5k could get one without leather, but I can't find a steel grey one anywhere. Might have to order.

Anyway the first step would be putting the RS up for sale. If I can get through that then I might be onmy way. Tell me why I shouldn't get an '06 Wagon...

Do it Jakob. You can probably find an SGM wagon in stock down in Socal, and get a reduced price for an in stock 06, since the 07s are arriving now. Good luck.

well dood, right now *is* the time to buy since they are trying to make room for 07 models. Check out Santa Cruz and see what they have.

Yeah, gonna take a drive and head down 1 to SC today. I just saw Stevens Creek has a couple in stock... Ugh.. So not worth it though dealers can be fun.

if you know stevens creek has one, go to the dealer of your choice, and say you want one in the color you want. Then since they dont have any on lot ask if any other dealers have one they can trade for.

Love my 06 TR sedan... I don't even drive my RS anymore.

The 2.5L turbo has so much more OOMPH than the 2.0 from earlier models... Better wheels, brakes, etc, etc.

Cool, thanks for the words. This is why I am looking at the '06 - the extra .5L (I had an '03 WRX for 2 yrs), the brakes (whee!!) and the wheels. Headlights a little too. Bigtime the steel grey metallic though... Always wanted another wagon, last one was an Impreza Turbo wagon in the UK.
