the Passport 8500 is a hundred bucks cheaper and has been rated as working better in detecting all types of radar/laser. the Solo2 is cordless and works about as well as the 8500.

obviously you have never used both the 8500 and the v1



the v1 you can only buy direct unless you get a used one off ebay or something

detects sooner than the 8500 and the directional arrows are priceless. once you use them, you won't use anything else

oh and yes the arrows alone are worth the extra $100

Talking V1

love it.. one of the best "upgrade" for my car.
cordless = means batteries
you'll never when it is working right or not..
V1 + arrows = sweet!

Check out the new BEL RX65 as well, its getting better raitings then the V1 and 8500
