Things to do in Carmel
The old ball & chain and I are heading off to Carmel this weekend, mainly because it is a dog-friendly place so I can take my 2 mutts to my hotel and there are tons of restaurants that have dogs menus for them too....
Does anybody have any recommendations for interesting things to do while I'm down there?
TIA.

The obvious ones like...
the 17 mile drive,
the aquarium (with a Great White, WOOT!),
cannery row/asilomar beach.
A hike in Point Lobos is nice as is a quick drive into Carmel-By-The-Sea which has some pretty amazing views as well as some historic/famous houses. For breakfast my girl and I like heading in to downtown Pacific Grove to the Redhouse Café. It's super good food, a neat little atmosphere, and has outdoor seating. The British Bulldog Pub on lighthouse is a great, casual place to get the ball rolling on drinks before dinner if you're in the cannery row area. Their potato skins are f'n awesome.
