Stockton is pretty good for traffic, far enough from SF and Sacramento.

the main campus is located in stockton but im gonna apply at the uop dental school and thats located somewhere in san francisco. its on some street called webster. thanks for all the input guys, if i do get accepted to the school, ill be really happy to live there. it seems i-club is really popular in san fran

UoP Dental School's near SF downtown = da pain in da okole. You might wanna live in the Richmond district and hop a bus down; if you do bring your car, it'll be most handy when you wanna take weekend trips out of the city. Technically, Muni (our crappy bus system) can take you anywhere in the City, but it's nothing like The Bus back at home. The only advantage you have taking Muni is not worrying about parking. And if you wanna go anywhere on the weekends outta SF (say Daly City or South San Francisco), you'll definitely need a car. Just for reference SF meets are actually technically Daly City meets usually, since it's easier for most of us to find parking out there. DC's just a few minutes south of San Francisco on the freeway.
