Are there any better OTC sleep aids than Benadryl?

Hello,

I'm starting to go a little crazy from the lack of sleep... I've tried various does of benadryl, valariun root (smells like ****!!!), melatonin, warm milk, breathing exercises, and just about anything else available under the sun.

I'm so tired of not being able to sleep, I seriously think that I'm starting to go a little kooookoooo especially after 3 days of staying up. Does anyone knoe of anything that can help my tall *** get some sleep. It's really starting to affect my life in a negative away and I just need relief.

One thing that does work are things like ambien, but but my doctor is stingy with them and only gives me 5 of them, so I run out really fast. CAn anyone suggest/help me out? I kind of wish I was dead at the moment.

PS: Pain meds don't make me sleep, and no drinking due to the ovhangs that I get, and no pot because wife would kill me. There;s gotta be someone out there that has something that will help me sleep! *crosses fingers*

I haven't slept since monday night,,,, Im going f'ing CRAzzzYYY!

Ill be honest, I haven't tried anything other than nyquil and Unisom. But every time I needed a knockout Unisom worked like a champ..

Ive gone through the same sh*t man, it usually takes a few days to get back into regular sleeping habits. Its weird how insomnia hits when it wants to

Sleep MD is your best bet. Otherwise you could be having some other issues. I know you have trouble expending energy because of your assorted injuries and chronic pain but trying to exercise early in the day. Might consider seeing your doctor as well.

available at your local 24hr CVS: http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/sh...e_Free_Listing

I hear ZMA helps you sleep. Any supplement store should have it.

500mg of GABA and 200mg of Theanine right before bed.
Stops the mind from running

I still have found nothing better than Ambien... although that's not OTC

+1 on ZMA
+1 on Indica

I'm surprised the breathing exercises didn't do more for you, the breathing is just one facet of meditation, have you tried full on meditation?
