It's all driver on this one for the mistake that killed him. It's all on the parents for spoiling the kid in the first place.
I mean, 4.0 for ONE semester and getting an STi???
4.0 for all 4 years in HS, and getting a new car of some kind, sure, I guess... but an STi for one term is stupid.

That is crazy. Getting a WRX STi for a first car for getting a 4.0 for ONE semester? I'd expect that as a graduation present (not even, maybe a 2.5RS or used WRX).
My first car that I learned on was a '83 Volvo DL. Then a '93 Ford Probe GT (A/T)

mannnnnnnnnn. sooner or later, california is going to ban minors from driving cars over 250 HP or something. California would make up some bull**** like that.
"no driving till 18"
"11 oclock curfew"
"no passengers"
some kids shouldnt be behind the wheel.. and contrary to popular belief, i dont drive like a maniac!!! i think...

I would've killed myself in a car with a real engine, if the way I treated that poor wagon is anything to go by.

Oh and thread content: you toss a pistol to some kiddies and someone's gonna get shot. We know this.
