Fremont to Embarcadero takes 44 mins, and is WAY WAY easier then driving in and parking for 15 to 18 bucks a day.

Check that guy out. My fiancee and I both have one. She commutes into SF every day from Castro Valley and I take it into Pleasanton.

It works just like fast track. It fills itself up each time you go under $10. You get charged $45 each time it refills but you get $48 on the card. So an extra $3 each time you fill up.

They also have BART plus passes which allow you to ride Muni for free for two weeks.

It costs a bit more but if you need to take Muni to get to your building it can save you a few more dollars.
I can't believe they are still in "pilot" stage with that. They installed the readers like 3+ years ago.

Be aware of your suroundings. Also, carry some O.C. spray and a good sharp knife. Oh yeah, also a good compact flash light. Just in case.

What station are you getting off at? Be aware of aggressive pan handlers!

I wouldnt park a nice car in a BART lot.
Shoot I had NO problems crashing out on BART morning or night. Just be careful at night. Set an alarm or something. I've woken up after missing my transfer a few times. One time I woke up in dublin and the train was off and parked and locked. Scared the crap out of me. Friggin midnight stuck in dublin and ****. Had to take a friggen taxi back to fremont.

Had some interesting rides...haaa. Be careful what cars you sit in on the way home if it's late... like the last car of the last train is a big no no. Have fun watching the crack heads crash. Fights brake out. Once had a lady have a baby on my car. Saw someone get pushed in front of a train. Saw a girl grab another girls hair and pull her down the stair. Busted her head wide open. Should of seen that fat ***** run from the fat donut eatin cop... haaaaaa.
