The cool thing I should also point out is that even with the smoked reverse and turn signals, they still show their appropriate colors as if there were no smoked overlays installed. Transparent, yet durable. Nice contrast with car color as well. Time to get gunmetal rota grids or gunmetal rota g forces/ .....advan rs (if only these were cheap enough)

Damn. I might jump on this. I painted mine red, but it has faded over time. I did it right, sanded then painted then cleared with UV resistant clear... still fades eventually...

I did 2 coats red, 2 coats clear. And I wax my car once a month or so... And it's parked in my garage so it only sees sun when I'm out...
It's not bad to do paint, but you have to sand down and reps ray occasionally... Likewise, eventually the film you have will fade or get dirty and dinged up...
