what didn't work? the process or just didn't look as 'amazing' as expected? I've tried many sets and the process works for me. But the final images were not all that impressive. heck, I think some of the originals were better...

lol yeah ALL my originals are better because they dont have the HDR white fog screen on some of the examples given by posters.
tho i did take a picture of the sides of SF buildings and it had a nice orange to pink gradient, so i think i caught something HDR...or maybe it was because i was in the Castro...uhh oh...did i just say i caught something in the Castro?

It seems like depending on the exposure and images you use your images can be less saturated or more. Guess I'm still trying to figure out what qualifies as an HDR image. Was looking for a little more kick.

dam,n. u guys are hella technical.
adizon.
i see what ur doing. and i think you would want to do something like that before the image gets to the .jpg
when its an hdr file, you can pretty much do what u want to it.
have u downloaded photomatix, its a great program.

Yeah I gotta check it out. Still need a camera. Limited exposure range with the point and shoot! After seeing all this HDR, I started checking out SLR's, but bought wheels and tires instead . . . sheesh !

I was kind of rushing so they aren't that great, but I wanted to try HDR's at night in a parking garage.... here's my try at it (they could use some photoshop to clean them up and crop, but my trial on this comp is expired and my buddy lost my cd key...)

you mean you dont throw away your old body parts when you put new ones on?
cool, well it looks good!
no no no no, you got me wrong. . . Since SD already created an HDR image giving it a full dynamic range, I was trying to see if I used a combo of levels, curves, and saturation to intensify the image if that would not make it an HDR image. Then goin back into levels to make sure there was still a full range of values 0-255 in the levels graph.
