Oh, so my ISO values tell me how fast my camera will react to the lighting? So by having lower values I get more and higher values I get less?

What should I be changing for HDR imaging then?

I have a Pentax *istD S Digital SLR. I am assuming you mean "point and shoot" by P&S, right? I wouldn't consider it a P&S... but I guess some people might...

When I do night shoots I usually use the Bulb Exposure setting and manually control the shutter speed with my finger. This is how my pictures turn out with normal (non HDR) night photography using this setting:

SD, that picture of the field and mountains, you wouldn't happen to have a larger original would you? I'd like to use it as a background. That's def in the top 10 landscape pictures I've seen.

It's not HDR, but I want some feedback...

So I found a short and sort of vague tutorial on making pictures that are b&w but have 1 color or area selected. And I've always wanted to try this, so I figured I'd post my results on here and see what you guys think versus the original.

Do you like the full sized image or the croped one better? ps: I dulled the yellow a bit to bring out the reflection.

Cropped:
