Well there are always small companies like Subaru that will still remain profitable (sort of) that have a niche market.

But I don't want Subaru to turn into boring Toyota...

^ You forget that Subaru doesn't want to stay in the niche market and has changed their cars over the years to try to reach a broader audience.

From my experience that is how it works. In areas where one loses service, the other gets it. When I go to Tahoe it is opposite on the mountain. I have service while my buddy with Verizon doesn't

Maybe this is the reason my Tmo services was fluctuating especially in areas where the tower is nearby. Hopefully this might work out, if not, ill switch to verizon due to the employee discount

as an economics major you should know all to well about the fallout from the breakup of the original AT&T.

competition doesn't always mean better service.

No the guy that ran Disney did and spring has not made money the last 4 years. The billionaire running the company is spending his own money to jeep the company going. Sad because sprint is good with service I had them before I started my new job

Get ready for horrible customer service that their own AT&T techs hate. The call center which each department ( DSL / Phone / Telvision ) don't talk to each other or can see each others notes to troubleshoot a problem. As a IT myself dealing with their call center to get a simple Binding Post at the demarcation point to hook up a new service to a resident on base it takes them 20 times to tranfer you to the right department and 1 hour of being on the phone and still not give you the right info. Bring Back Catherine Zeta Jones !!!!!!!

To be honest, there isn't a difference between 3G and 4G. The 3G speeds haven't changed in years.

You know why Verizon is better? The service is better and I think it will always be better since ATT is so f'ing cheap when it comes to their service coverage...

Im so glad I have verizon and not ATT anymore.

It's a rather safe bet that you guys never drive out of population centers to places that have less than 25,000 residents. That describes most anyplace in Northern California that isn't within 20 miles of the Hwy 101 corridor - and that's a LOT of area that Verizon covers and AT&T doesn't.
