that's where I got mine. headlamps and foglamps> I'll be getting high beams eventually.

He's a smart and very helpful guy. He send stats to support why he supports the bulbs he does. I got the narva bulbs and am very happy with them.

Yup - this was a '99 9-5 SE with the weird-*** 'asymetrical turbo' V6 and an auto. It was a surprisingly nice (and quick) car, but I couldn't stand the weird noises the engine made or the auto tranny. I test drove an '03 5spd aero and it was sweeeeeeeet...

Just wanted to point out that there could be human factor here. Wasn't talking about the quality though - there are definitely better as bassplayr points out - but I think most people's complaints was that they go out really quick, and this hasn't happened to me with many different sets.

Yeah, I guess some of my posts come off snappy. I love a good discussion, but the crap that has been going on recently has not been a respectful discussion, more like a panty bunching contest (not talking about our racing discussion). Not sure why people have to be like that, but hey it's the internet. I'm over it now though.

PS - what's a "Narva" - is it a super-whammo quality light? Never heard of them.

OSRAM Silverstars from the UK. You will actually get a better light out put with those as opposed to less light with the US Sylvania Silverstars.

Like these one here but the size you need

I'd replace them with the OSRAM's. Check on RS25.com... there's a thread there with a link to a place the will send you free matching corner bulbs and free shipping. I have them here (not installed currently).

osram and sylvania are the same company, a division of siemens. why would their bulbs be any different?

That sounds cool - and he could use the corner bulbs. One is a PIAA and one is a basic Sylvania I put in to pass safety in Hawaii when it went out. DOH!

restrictions by the US DOT.

That's why I told him to get the REAL Sylvania (OSRAM) SS. It's like on the East coast the call Best Food Mayo, Wellmans, or at least I think it is just a name thing.

Becasue there is a possibility you have a wiring or fuse problem you should probably buy 1 cheapo to get you through a few days and see what happens.
