Ish happens, unfortunately. The only consolation is that you kept a cool head and the guy notified his insurance company in a timely manner - no jerking you around. Glad that surfboard didn't go through your windshield and do a Stevie Wonder job on you.

A surfboard! This has gotta be a first on i-Club.

Thats awful, but i'm glad the insurance companies are taking care of it and that the surfer dude wasn't a jerk who tried to run off.

God, I wish it was. I've run over 2 surfboards in the last 5 years in Santa cruz after they dumped off the cars in front of me in traffic. I just felt bad about trashing the guy's boards, but I didn't take one up the scoop .

Hope you can get it fixed soon, sounds like it should work out OK.

I guess surfboard incidents are less common around Sacramento and Elk Grove.

Are you on crack? There are a bunch of lakes in the Sac area, public ones, a bunch of private ones (I have been to about 15) plus two rivers. There may not be any surfboards flying around but there sure is a hell of a lot of wakeboards headed out to the private lakes.
