Question Suggestions for quality shops in SF??

Need a diagnostic. My Scooby has been putting out white smoke and a burning smell from somewhere near or around the Turbo area. I noticed it while driving and looking at the windshield wiper on the passenger side. It's been happening on/off usually after i warm up the vehicle then start to drive. As i drive longer it'll sometimes just disappear. But, lately its been more frequent.

Any recommendations would be great. Thanks in advance.

I didn't miss it. Pretty familiar with some of those shops. Just need something closer. Inside of San Francisco (Local SF shops)

Check the inner passenger side cv boot. They are prone to tearing and slinging grease onto the downpipe.

- funny how all of these calling you a "noob" have a later join date than you
(my how i-club has changed lately)

his question pertained to a shop IN SF, which none of those in that thread ARE

- if you have nothing to contribute, find another thread to post in

TIA
