Success! Our new project is a reality:)
Well, some of you already know the little project we at I-Speed USA have been up to.
Here are some details. Yes I know they are not specific. I am keeping it that way....for now
As cast closed deck turbo block.
Piston Squirters.
79mm Stroker crank.
Billet 4340 Rods.
Turbo pistons with coated tops.
Head Studs.
Stainless Steel head gaskets.
The short block is now in our stock wrx. DYNO testing will begin shortly.
Stay tuned
Chris

Already I can say that there is NO lag with this shortblock and the stock WRX parts (heads, IC, turbo etc).
However, the little turbo is working REALLY hard. Boost is almost instantaneous and then the turbo dies at about 5krpms hahahahha.... poor little guy

Didn't the old iron fist use beryllium in their nuke heads? I remember I was in the hunt for a custom MTB frame back in the day, and this company built MTB's using old scrapped beryllium warheads.
edit: james I am still working with the numbers/stuff you are proposing.
