Is Subaru participating in the WRC next year or what?
I keep reading rumors saying that FHI is pulling out, then staying in but with a budget, then not participating at all...
What's the deal here? How can Subaru leave the WRC? I know this might be old news, so I'm sorry, but I had to hear the official news instead of sifting through the interweb.
First F1 gets raped royally, and now the WRC!?
Here is one of many articles which were published late last year, but I thought it was only for the 2009 year, but looks like this is happening indefinitely? Man, what a shame.

Usually if you pull out of something like this... you don't return the very next year.

Also, I can't believe Honda pulled out of F1
Audi and Porsche pulled out of Le Mans
Subaru and Suzuki pulls out of the WRC, I'm sure I'm missing some too...
Audi and Porsche are like Subaru to the WRC, and Honda was a major player in F1... What's next, Ferrari pulling out of F1!?
Like someone else said, at least now Ford will be in position to win something.

I have an idea, perhaps we should do a short tribute to Subaru's WRC heritage at the annual subaru meet at Stafford lake on August 9th... Say some words about it, pour out some beer and then go rally into the lake.
Seriously, I will do my best to mention it on the mic. Perhaps some rally experts (Pete?) can say a few words for what the WRC has done for Subaru, and vise versa, and how we have them to thank for such great cars (minus the last two years, lol).

Maybe with WRC now getting aired in the US, Subaru will rethink pulling out?

Don't jinx us please, my good sir. But seriously, anything could happen. What with Ford positioned to overtake GM as the United States's largest automaker and the Fiat/Chrysler merger.

There were many reasons why Honda left F1 and they just used the economy as the scapegoat.
That's what I thought as well. Audi left the ALMS with the exception of the 12 Hours of Sebring. What Infineon race are you speaking of?
