Stupid Question

This is because I am an ideot and I just would like to know what you all know. I have heard that With a custom exhaust Turboback with no resinators and no mufflers is bad for turbo. i dont know if this is a stupid question or if i am just a stupid person> let me know>

If making the turbo spool faster, reduce lag, and giving your car more power is bad, then yes

To answer more clearly - no it is not bad for the turbo.

However, if you have absolutely no resonators nor mufflers, the car will be EXTREMELY loud.

I'd make a comment about lack of cats too, but someone will get mad.

In some of the big american V8's some guys see with a 3" header and exhaust straight out the side (no backpressure what so ever) say that it would be bad because the engine uses backpressure to close the exhaust valves.

With that said, we have a 4 valve per piston engine, turbocharged so none of that applies.

It will be extremely loud. SWEET !

actually springs close the exhaust valves, not back pressure, tia.

Yes I understand this, but what I was told by an instructor of mine that the vacuum or backpressure created can actually vacuum shut the intake and exhaust on the overlap when they are both open. That is from a slight amount of exhaust backpressure.

Correct me if I am wrong, I dont wanna be spreading my stupid.
