Stopping poop on the lawn

I want to kill the animals that crap on my lawn. But I'll settle for this:

Contech Lawn Scarecrow!!

Motion activated sprinkler.

Reviews seem good, I can't wait for mine to arrive. Anyone else have this or suggestions for preventing cats from crapping in your back yard, and cats/dogs from pooping on the front?

I tried chili flake pepper but if it works, you have to constantly reapply it.

Slightly overkill, but highly effective.

Antifreeze... Leave a tub of it in your backyard and if someone's pet drinks it, tell them that they should keep their cats and dogs inside their homes. Besides, their pets trespassed onto your property.

I have a dog and I keep mine indoors. My neighbors on the other hand are so careless, just leave their dog outside and it doesn't stop barking. Unfortunatlely, I think it's the owners that should die, not the pets themselves since that's just their nature to be curious.

I have put out gallon milk jugs filled with water, spread them put through the perimeter of your fence and you are set. Set them out about 10 to 15 feet apart, they are not pretty but they have done the job for me! We had a flea and cat crap problem when we moved into our new house and the cats don't come near our lawn only walk the fence. I don't know why this works but it does. My grandmother used this trick and never had a problem!!!!!

My guess is the animals stop for a drink and get distracted or something. They don;t like to pee where they drink.
