Stockton: Rick Chase passed away
I don't know if anyone here listens to Rich Chase over in stockton...
but he was very popular here in the late 80's... he had an afternoon show in KMEL...
said to have passed away yesterday in his sleep.
pretty sad

I live in Stockton and didn't even know who Rick Chase was because the local radio stations aren't any good (except NPR). I didn't know about it until I heard about it on the Doghouse this morning.

no way, thats sad ,man i used to listen to him during the early 90's till he left KMEL. too bad Franzen, Trace, and that other pinay chick who did the afternoons way before Sana G left, those were the days. I didnt know he went to Stockton, I thought he retired. Dood was hella old though.

What's up with you guys and NPR? That is about a damned liberal conspiracy if I have ever seen one. There is a hell of a career, "I am a reporter for NPR."
Sucks that some popular dude passed on, but I had never heard of him.
I rock 560 KSFO from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on the drive home. Michael Savage makes more sense than anybody, anywhere.
