Looks confusing, but that will be a sick setup if everything gets working properly.

i used to own a mr2 and was all into them a couple years back. and the first generation mr2's came with the super charged option. hks made a twinchager system for that mr2, which supposedly made some serious power. and that was just a 4agze(i think, im a lil rusty).

Twin charged 1gen MR2s were awesome. I'd still love to own one. I like the way the turbo is aligned in the setup above. Maybe I can get that disco potato after all : )

the twincharger system was pretty awesome. A guy named, "Buddha," in SoCal's Cyber Racing (Tony Fuchs of OG street & import racing fame) had a white twincharged Mr2. In fact, the plate was, "TWNCHRG," or something to that effect.

Anyways, that thing was wicked and good for high 12's back in the day and like 10's or 11's now. NO ONE used to want to run that car.

I don't know what you guys are talking about smashing on this thing.

If that thing gets tuned right. Can keep temperatures in control and keep the drive line together that thing could run some insanely fast times and actually pretty damn streetable.

That set up has been around in different forms for YEAR...lots of years. Shoot I was just watching something on horsepower TV I think it was with a rediculously old diesel motor set up that way.

I've seen similar set ups run into the 8-1200 hp range depending on block size and strength. Hopefully this guy has taken the correct precausions with his block and fuel system of that motor won't last long. And tuning is rediculously important.

I would not be surprised to see that thing properly tuned putting down rediculous number.

I talked to the driver of the car at the Suby meet in Vegas during SEMA week and his estimate was over 500 whp with proper tuning and once they figured out the "intake heat temp" problem.
