Question STI coilover spring rates and lenghts?

I had to post this here in the Bay area forum because I wasn't getting any help in the Impreza suspensions forum. And I know there are some people in the Bay area that might be able to help. I'm trying to figure what spring rates and lengths I should put on my Ohlins coilover system. I mainly want this to work on the track for track days. Right now I have 300mm-229lbs in front and 270mm-179lb springs in the rear. This is way to soft for the track. I have to jack my ride height way up so the tires don't rub in the fenderwells. In the latest issue of Sportscar put out by the SCCA they have an article about moding a WRX with the STi adjustable strut/spring suspension kit and they put 343lb springs in front and 286lb in the rear. Then on a pro solo car they had 560lb in front and 672lb in the rear. So anyone have any thoughts on what to run? Thanks, Brian

I would first talk with Ohlins, and see what range of spring rates the shock valving in their coilovers can comfortably handle. That should give you some better guidance on whether you want to pursue different springs on these coilovers, or a different direction altogether....

I'm so close to finishing my suspension and will soon have 325/300.

http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/t...ng/spring.html is a chart with standard setups from companies, maybe you can get an idea from that.
