It seems that Steven's Creek impress 25% of their customers but **** off the other 75%.

Out of loyalty to i-club I only ever go down there to thrash the **** out of their cars then buy from someone else...

I told him that don't do this, he was like no i will do it. So I decide to take my car and walk off. So i start drivng and on San Tomas the frontend starts to shake at 40 miles. I thought there is a flat and **** i lost the wheel lock so i am ****ed.

I pull over and could not believe my eyes there were no wheel lugs on the driver side wheel. The car was driving on the wheel lock. As i was close to office i drove @ 10 mile/hr and went back to Stevens creek. My co worker gave me a ride. I went there and the service advisor was like why did that happen. I am yes please enlighten me. so he asks me which side i say left front, he says is that drivers side. I was like last time i checcked we are still in America so yes drivers side. He was don;'t give me sarcism. Then there was another manager in green shirt he was like just watching. So the service advisor asks me how can we settle this. I told him give me 4 lugs and don't report to subaru and we are even.

Here the green shirt manager says am i holding Chris (service advisor by the *****). I said he asked me how to solve i am telling what i want. to accept or reject is your choice.

The manager tell me that i removed the lugs and then am holding the dealership responsible. I was like yes wow you thought all that by yourself, dude u r brain must be working overtime man.

He said he is selling cars for more years than i was born. I was like yes good but one still makes mistake and all it takes is to fix it and not argue and go on the defensive.

he was like as u are begging i will give the lugs and u install them at that time i was totally pissed and i told him to shove the lugs. i will buy outdside and never return to stevens creek. he was like anydealer i go he will be there, i asked how. He is going to buy all dealerships. Then i told him i will sell subaru and buy a car where he is not there.

Bottom line is inspite warnings I did not listen and got the expericnce first hand. I wish Stevens Creek Subaru managers and bad guys rot in hell.
I understood half of that. Anyways, good thing i have never brought my car to stevens creek, I only buy parts from them.

Here's a question, should I be angry if they put in 10W-30 as opposed to 5W-30 as recommended by my car manual? Although I know the heavier weighted oil won't hurt my car, the principle is they should put it what's recommended. Agree?

Man, I'd be pretty pissed off too if an idiot technician forgot to install wheel lugs on my car. That's freakin' dangerous. Stevens Creek should be lucky they didn't get sued. Why on earth would someone accuse the customer of personally REMOVE lugs off their car shortly after they leave the dealership? That's some asinine reasoning.

yeah i am going in today morning to get a copy of things replaced in my car. I had asked them to replace the fog bulb on the driver side. To get to the fog assembly one needs to remove the wheel and i bet as i had lost the wheel locks he could not remove the wheel.

what an ***. today will be a fun day at stevens creek in the morning.

if you can't provide a key how could they have removed the wheel???

I hate them, so don't get me wrong, but, they couldn't have done that part of the service if they needed to remove the wheel.

that's the point they removed 4 lugs aznd then realized that the key is not there. Then worked on the lamp issue and forgot to put the lugs. The lugs were there when i took the car in as the advisor inspected tha car and checked the lugs as i told him i needed the locks blasted. He checked the wheels and told me that he will see if it is possible to get a master. So if all the lugs are there when i drop the car and they are not there when i pick the car. You tell me where did they disappear.

they could easily bust off that wheel lock. i had mine busted off by a shop before, its quick and easy and hard to screw up (but they might be able to lol). i'd get that taken care off so you dont get a flat while driving around and end up screwed.

as for steven's creek, accept your loss and move on, don't go back... don't sue them cuz you wont win... they're gay...

I can't even read this thread it is pissing me off so bad. They suck. I bought my car there. They ended up throwing on a bunch of little charges here and there that I didn't notice....but it ended up being about $2000. Bastards. I hate them and will never ever ever buy a car there again.

Honest question: What would it take the change the place? If someone you trusted was there and watched everything like a hawk would that give them a second chance? What would it take?

I'm just curious. I don't work there. I don't think I will be working there. I'm just curious.
