When we bought our WRX there, some crack head named Destry was trying to show us how the car works. Half the time he didn't know what he was saying. He told us to pull fuses to disable AWD.

I've seen the Subaru fanatic & *crybaby* website before.

It has ZERO effect on sales here, but thanks for pointing it out anyway.

We continue to sell more Subaru's than any other store the the Northwest USA Region, The most in Northern CA, and by far the most in the Bay Area [this info as per Subaru Of America, so you don't accuse me of being a liar].

This month in particular we're absolutely KILLING every other dealer on Northern CA.

What is their secret beside their location?
this is what SOA told me...

Kinda. You put a fuse into a certain slot to disable AWD, and it isn't for towing, but if you need to put a spare tire on your car. You should put the spare on the rear (rotating the tires if necessary) and put the fuse in to disable power going to the rear wheels.

Location, Location and Location. They have the most accessible location around. Tons of passby traffic, and they are all decent liars, what more could a dealership ask for.

If we stop 1000, hell even 100 people from going to that place then our deed is done. I don't give a crap what volume they do, any dent in their pocket is worth exposing these asshats.

I'll bet something else... they are near SJ airport. I'll bet they have a fleet deal with Hertz as Subaru has some sort of contract with the Hertz corp to supply cars (http://www.subaru.com/common/faq/index.jsp#8 ).
Think about it, Hertz buys several hundered cars at a time.
With a good fleet contract its easy to be tops in volume (even if you are only making $20/car)

Yup, I was there when we were lied to. So we took our biz to Redwood city. Got the best deal, no back and forth s___t. straight to the point. Drove away a happy customer with my 06 black WRX.

When i went to buy a WrX back in 03. They wanted around 29Gs for it. So i said peace. I got my WrX from livermore subi this year. Great service man. When i went inside to buy it the manager was like so how much do you wana pay? He said dont be suprised if i accept a crazy number either... i said ok how does $500 over envoice sound. Got my ReX for 24500 out the door. I was in san jose recently and went to look at the new limited STi Steves creek had. The sticker said 34xxx dealer price or something like that. So i asked the sales guy just for the hell of it. He said "ohh uhh that one is 42,000, only 800 made world wide." I laughed and walked out...

Thumbs down

I actually baught my STi from Stevens Creek. I went through their internet sales department. I knew the price before I even got there so their was no haggling. I still didn't like the service, and the finance department screwed up, so there was a flap over that. I just think they want to push soooo hard to get dealers price that they step over the line. Redwood city, Santa Cruz, and other places understand that with the internet most folks are looking for 500 to 1000 over invoice, and that's it. their sales folks on the floor have no clue, and think everone walking through the door is an idiot. I won't go there ever again not even for parts. I also no the ins and outs of the car sales business and when the guy got out the paper and asked me how much I wanted to pay, and made the four boxes I was so pissed I didn't even want to talk with him. Lets just say that closing on a price prior to going there makes it way easier. If you don't have a trade in even better. Get all your info prior to going anywhere. Most internet sales will close on the price and even give you an estimated KBB trade in value. I always get my numbers first then talk with them on the phone, and ask them to send me an email. that way I have something in hand to make things go quickly.

Also I did hear a large number of their sales are fleat sales or corporate leases. This means it is worked out by Subaru and they just turn over their inventory.

i remember going there with my 2-3 friends right when the wrx came out. We arrived in a brand new A4 3.0, asked questions, and wanted a test drive. The salespeople (3 of them) were all very rude to us. One even said something along the lines of 'breaking my friend's wrists' to me. My friend offered his hands, and the salesman rejected his offer because he was at work or some BS.

Anyways, we were appalled. The manager comes in and talks to us...blah blah (yes we're around 17-18), and we do end up test driving the car. I drive it down three blocks then back on Stevens Creek...

We're greeted by the manager who explains to us that there was another group of 'kids' like us who had just visited with their silver A4 (new MY). They apologized...

Horrible experience..we came in with money and not tire kicking, and they were still jerks.

SC Subaru must have really good pricing since the ******* salespeople there offer zero 'service'. We reported them to the better business bureau.

Stevens Creeks has got a great location. It drives me nuts that I have to drive > 45 minutes to go to a good Subie dealership.

We'll see what happens when I go buy some oil filters from Steven's Creek. But I bought mine at Santa Cruz (very nice dealership, BTW)

Bump for a real bunch of sh*tbags. It doesn't matter how much under invoice they will go, they'll never get my business.
