Certainly you jest.

Statements made by me do not reflect the opinion of the dealership or management.
See the title of my post. As an employee of SCS, EVERYTHING you say here reflects on you, the dealership and the management of SCS. Case in point - the fact that you're still employed by SCS after your last 2 posts here definitely reflects poorly on the management of SCS.
We, the sales staff at Stevens Creek Subaru, are actively working on providing a more positive shopping experience for our customers.
Oh this is good. Completely pointless. However, it does brings up another question - Is there any car dealership, or actually any customer-service oriented business for that matter, that ISN'T actively working on providing a more positive shopping experience for their customers?
I am pleased to say that the information gathered on this forum has been noted and expressed to the members of the sales staff. Thank you for your honesty.
I'll sleep better at night knowing this. But I'd like to offer some suggestions as to what you can do with this information:
1) Realize that none of you are competent or qualified to speak to the general public. Therefore, you and your staff should see employment elsewhere. Perhaps you can find a rewarding career in soil relocation engineering (that's 'ditch digging', in case you're having trouble with the longer words).
2) Realize that none of you are competent or qualified to speak to the general public. So take a few decades off from work and think about how you can improve yourselves. Hopefully you'll reach retirement age before you complete your self-improvement course so that you aren't capable of returning to the workforce.
3) Realize that none of you are competent or qualified to speak to the general public. Then move to some other country with social programs to account for mentally handicapped.

If any of this post is confusing or unclear, please feel free to use this reference while reading:

Help me understand!
Or
How do you say that?

All the same though, have a nice day.

I bought a Subie there in 2000. Sales is pushy and rude, parts is arrogant and overpriced, service....I would not even dare think of using this **** hole for service.

Thanks! I should not express my opinion on this web forum due to the fact that this dealership may have already lost the trust and respect from many of the Suby community. But I am sincere, and that's not lawyer talk. Believe it or not, I've only worked there a for a year, so give a guy a break! Or insult me more, whatever floats your boat. On another note, this weekend was great for us and all the customers, and everyone who came in was treated well, got all info needed, test drove what they wanted, with even a couple 06 STi demos. I sold a 2.5i wagon in 30 min, and delivered a beautiful white WRX TR Sedan too. Oh, we have 2005 WRX Wagons, all manual, silver/black/blue, and all are on sale too!!

...right...Does it make sense to say:
1) I should not express my opinion on this web forum due to the fact that the dealership may have already ost the trust and respect from many of the suby community, and
2) But I am sincere and that's not lawyer talk

in the same breath?

Hey, at least you threw in a sales pitch as well.

Bottom line? You're lucky freak's not that serious about trying to improve the sales force because then you would not have a job.

They should lock this thread and make it sticky with a title "Why you should avoid Stevens Creek Subaru"

That is unless people have more bad experiences they'd like to document. It's probably unnecessary at this point though.

but its worth it that stevens creek reads it and then trys to make excuses, i mean hilarious **** like don't they no that not a single person on this board would come within 10 miles of their store but they keep on trying to drum up business. I would tell them to go to another site and try their luck but we all know their excellent reputation is too well known.

Thumbs down

After reading 18 pages of stuff on here about how bad Stevens Creek Subaru's customer service etc is, I decided give them a try. I needed an oil filter and a drain plug gasket for an 04 STI and since I was in the area...thought I would swing by. They wanted to charge me $10.88 for the wrong oil filter and $1.80 for a "crush" gasket, insisting that all subarus use the same oil filter. Joey, was the name of the guy at the parts counter...he kept on insisting and even called for back up to tell me "hey we change oil all day long and we KNOW what we are talking about."

I should have questioned Joey when he asked me if my STI was a turbo or non turbo. Where the hell you find these guys? It's bad enough that Joey and his sidekick insinuated that I didn't know what I was talking about but that these guys kept on insisting that the parts were all the same. Imagine what would have happened if I took my car in for service!!

So to make a long story short, I would rather drive 100 miles to another dealership rather than be degraded by someone that does not know whether STi's are turbo charged. And to think I was going to buy a new wagon for my wife from you guys...you just lost my business.

When all was done I decided to think about it and head home, while heading home my friend and I thought, why not stop by Stevens Creek, it cant be as bad as everyone makes it. We were wrong. I have never been more insulted by any other car dealer ever. The sales person there, I believe his name was Hassan totally didnt know what he was talking about and was just trying to make a sale. Told me things that were obvious about the wrx and called it a 4x4. Then he took my license and and went to talk to a financial supervisor or something and came back and refused to give me a quote or even do any sort of business with me because I didnt have my cosigner with me. I now understand why everyone hates Stevens Creek and I will never go there again. I hope the place burns down.

Also the WRX I was intrested in from Carlsen was 25kOTD, while the WRX at Stevens Creek had a 30k asking price!

haha yeah, that same guy was trying to push the sale on us too. just got an 06 WRX wagon from stevens creek...not all too pleased about the whole buying experience with them, but def. did not have a very horrible experience. that guy, hassan, is new...according to what massood said. massood took over the sale when he saw that we weren't gonna move on anything as long as hassan guy was talking to us. on a more positive note, massood did get the parts/svc dept to replace a scratched wheel that they scratched in under 15 min. and please, if i do, for some stupid reason, go back for servicing at SCS, please don't do anything to make me angry...it would not be pretty.

and subysalesguy, shut up already. no, i take that back, keep talking. it's entertaining.
