Referring to the bolded item: That statement is pointless because you have to sign up to use/get it.
However, I do NOT like Intuits interface online. Finding my account infor and whatnot is a PITA. The app however is pretty straight forward (I just wish I could set up custom items rather than setting a name, description, and price for everything.

I have Square. Once you get past the SSN and bank information, you can sell pretty much whatever you want.
I haven't done any transaction other than swipe $5 and get $4.xx to test it out, but it really is free to get *least when I got it it was and that was about 6 months ago*.

yes! please support square guys! square is a small company based in sf. they are constantly growing, and just recently had visa invest in them. they will give you all the free readers you want, and everything is super easy to use!
