I was just coming home from GST, as I was getting on the Freeway I notice this huge boat of a car, so I did a double take... It was a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom convertible! Just like the one they featured in top gear a on season 10 (I think it was season 10).

Man, no wonder people stare at that car, it's so big that it makes my STi feel like a micro machine!


Anyone else seen one of these things in real life? Probably didn't help that there was a miata in front of it...

 

hahahaha yeah. i've seen this one rolls a few times. i occasionally see it, but a few years back i remember seeing it like 3 times while i was in high school. not a car i would ever choose, but when you're rich, you're rich.

 

Wonder why they named it the "Phantom" rather than the "Look at Me"?

 

I see one all the time in Danville. Supposedly its E40 since he lives in Blackhawk

 

Just a guess, but Im going to go out on a limb and say there are more than one Rolls in blackhawk.....

There is one parked in hayward i use to see every other day last year on my way home.

I found it odd it was parked in a rough area in hayward.

 

Never seen the convertible Phantom in person, but did drive next to a regular Phantom in I-5 in LA for awhile and was amazed on how big it was.

 

The owner probably made a lot of money in that rough neighborhood.
