That dashboard is crazy sexy.

Looks like Koa wood to me.

This is so much cooler than all the redneck V8 euro swaps!

That is so awesome but damn near useless. The torque seems like it would be WAY to much for such a narrow and short wheelbase. But still cool. That car is clean as hell.

Side note... there's an entire thread for this topic.

Oh - I disagree... I've driven a TR6 with a Buick V6 at Auto-X
That car was AWESOME!
Short wheel base with big torque means good turn-in

Which V6? LG7 or L32? Or one in between? Turbo, supercharged or NA?
Even best case L32's are like 260hp and I think barely over 200torque.

That M3 motor is at least 50 percent more.

I'm not saying it's bad swap. I think it kicks *** and I'd love to drive it. Just be curious to see how much weight it added in the front of the car and how well it holds traction. I could care less about autoX. LOL. Cars are set up TOTALLY different for ax than they are for the street/track/etc.

Well here's a pic taken in Marina

I'm by no means an expert on the Buick 3.8 V6. It's NA, but I'd say it felt like ~300HP

Full article on the car here.

It's just a matter of being used to big power RWD cars I had a CP Camaro for years... steering the the gas pedal is an acquired taste

Damn that's a sweet ride. Running a lot of tire for that car too. Judging by that carb I'd say that's more than 300hp. LOL.

I'd personally love to drive either. LOL. I love little cars with mad power. I saw an AE86 with a v8 in it at the sonoma drift weekend before last. Friggin sweet little car but it looked like a handful. Dude was ALL over the place.

I grew up in a 240Z and a high HP camaro.

I'll eat my words. I just read that ebay article...

1170 lbs Front 49% - 587 LF / 583 RF
1235 lbs Rear 51% - 614 LR / 621 RR

And it's an older M3 motor and probably has less torque that you're buddies car.

I bet that thing is fun as **** to drive set up the way it is. Just reading the weight specs makes me in love. $40k is grip but it's a VERY well sorted car. The swap is clean as ****. The interior is perfect. The body is perfect. I love that wheel selection and the front bumper I guess I'd call it. Friggin sweet find dude!

But still... whole thread for swaps.

(just busting your ***** and drinking some haterade!)
