Is that the place that looks like a normal bakery in the front but a beer hall in the back?

 

yup. It is rad too. Rotating beer stock. They often stock sour beers witch i am not always in the mood for but when I am they are hard to find. The food is good too. Giant fresh made pretzel with cold cuts, cheese, sourkrout, and mustard is enough food for 2.

 

Ugh, sours... Definitely gotta be in the mood for them

 

St. Johns Burgers in Sunnyvale has a list of good microbrews that changes every so often, one month they had Pliny the Elder *drool* The Workshop in Palo Alto has Lagunitas IPA and Sierra Nevada Torpedo on tap, along with a few others.

My friend told me he saw Stone IPA on tap at BJ's in Cupertino once, Im sure it didnt last long. For a good hef, I think RockBottom makes a decent one...but not a hef fan so much anymore.

Yard House is cool, as long as you dont get there with the rest of San Jose and have to wait 3 hours. Stone Ruination and Arrogant Bastard on tap will always bring me back. Also try some from 21st Amendment (Back in Black, Brew Free or Die IPA)
