the Micky D's will work if you want to do it on the cheap. All you need to do is deflect the sound into multiple directions, and it will do a find job of preventing exposure, and also will deaden the room very well for recording.

i totally would! thats probably why they use that crap in apartments cuz they knew kids were gonna be yelling and parents upstairs trying to make more of them.
