Yes, your headlights have to be 22 inches above the ground, why the older vettes had pop-up headlights.

It's not as simple as "don't break the law".

Actually, I haven't driven today.

Yes, technically I break the law when I drive because of the mods. However, I do not complain if I get tickets for what I knowingly do.

And yes, it is as simple as "Stop breaking the law." Not breaking the law with GREATLY reduce your chances of getting a ticket.

As I said in the previous post:

I'll bet that every single one of us... including you... broke the law unintentionally driving today.
But clearly, you are choosing your own semantic.

Saw a Sheriff with someone pulled over in San Rafael on 101N today, a CHP pulling someone over before the GG bridge entrance in SF and a CHP moto clocking people on 101S in Novato.

Have fun out there.

As much as I like clean air, and civil order, I am pretty disgusted with CA EPA restrictions on cars.

Especially when it becomes a revenue source. And a model for the rest of the U.S.A.

I think this'll pass soon enough when bigger issues arise, and a few tickets issued by blind livestock will seem petty.

I love CA but being an import enthusiast here is daunting.

A little off topic from the import vs. cops thing but just a heads up if you're driving around in the city. There's a crackdown on not yielding to pedestrians, especially at these locations. My dad just got ticketed yesterday on Alemany.

The Cortland St corridor, from Mission St to Gates St
Mission St and Highland Street

Allemany Blvd and San Juan Ave

Geneva Ave and London St

Bosworth St and Arlington St
