Next time use ticketassassin.com first, then try the "Trial De Novo" or new trial if you don't like the results... You never know, the cop might be lazy enough to not send a response back...worked for me with a 75 in a 65 ticket. Worst case scenario you're stuck where you are now...why go there first?

Not really, most of the people I work with are from the alameda area. I live in Walnut Creek and work in Dublin.

I still don't get why you would go to court to plead guilty???? Pay the ticket next time. That is your admittance of guilt. Always fight the ticket. Especially when your licence is involved. Did you not know that was one of the penalties? Better do some research for yourself

It is mandatory to go to court for a speeding ticket for 100+. Obviously, I didn't know that my license would be suspended or I would have pleaded not guilty. I thought that I was going to get a huge fine and a couple of points but thats it.

Its pretty hard to research something that you're not expecting!

It wasn't meant for you to take offense. Sorry to hear about your licence. Jeesh

did you buy him a hooker or something? how the hell do you get off with that one! although I remember one time I was speeding home from office depot to finish a history report, and I was going about 110 down an open road by some fields...heading towards a little cliff so all I could see coming were some lights from around the cliff, so I took my foot off the gas and got down to about 80 by the time the cop rounded the corner and saw me. He said I would have gotten a ticket for 80+ in a 55, but he let me off. I guess he believed me that I was going home to finish a report since the office deopt bag was on my front seat and it was like 9:30 at night. that was in a dodge stealth too...not my suby.

sucks about you having your license suspended...I'd be screwed if mine was
