The old Gran Turismo (can't remember which one, I think it was part II) had a GC8 impreza in the background when you did weight reductions (no matter what car you were doing the weight reduction on, there was a GC impreza bare bones chassis as the background wallpaper). At least they kept true to their roots!
Also, the president of GT used to (during GT1 and 2) drove an EVO and said it was his best DD car

PS: I hate that little 3rd window (the mini window at the rear) of the new body (mainly the sedan). It's weird and looks like an afterthought. It looks ok on the hatch, but looks WEIRD on the sedan. (at least the first couple of years, I haven't seen it on the new wide body sedan)
