expect 1.5-2mbit downloads, and 256kbit upload speed.
cable companies will not quote you speeds, but thats roughly what others get with the same service.

I get my local/ld phone, tv and inet through them. The more service you pile on, the bigger monthly discount you get. I average about 17% - 23% discount per month.
My internet goes for $49.95/mo. It's pretty stable - I've had a few weekends where on a Sunday for some reason the connection speed was so unbearably slow (I'm talking less than 56k..one time I was having connect issues, did a dslreport and got a NEGATIVE number for my speeds ).
I don't like some things about them - their "technical" people aren't too bright. I was having some internet connections when they first set me up and they tried blaming my router, then my net card, then my mobo and I told them the whole time it was their equipment. They wasted hours of my time to find out I was right. You can't create/edit your mailbox settings on line, you have to call them and create an e-mail address over the phone, which sucks. If you're an internet company, you should be able to do **** OVER THE INTERNET! grrr
Other than that, they're kick ***. My TV service and phone service rock, the internet is blazing. Even on crap servers I get at least 300k down. My best dl ever was an AVERAGE speed of 4meg/sec!!!!!!
There are a couple houses for sale in my neighborhood, but even the smallest ones are selling for $260k+..

And it will only get worse. They're putting homes across the street right now. One development starts at $275k, another at about $300k and the third at $380k, all within a mile.
I want the $380k house - two car garage and then a separate one car garage with windows, all attached. floor plan is BAD ***. If we had a bit more equity we'd probably rent our house out and buy the other one..but we'll have to wait
