He skips go and goes straight to jail and the death penalty.
On one end, I would rather have him live a long slow death, but on the other hand, I would rather keep my money in my pocket rather then keep all these guys on death row or life in prison and drain the economy worse than it already is.

Uhh. I'm pretty rational too. The dude didn't want to fight other Muslims. Instead of not fighting at all, he decided to kill and wound dozens of others.
He shot people because of his religion, plain and simple. We are at war with fanatical islam and if you don't think you can do your job then you shouldn't be in our military. He took $$$ of paid education and sat and gained benefits for years.
He should have Allah Akbar'ed his own face instead of ruining others, damn piece of crap.
We are Americans, we cannot turn our heads away and not ask the real questions when things touch that little racism line. We have to ask the obvious questions to protect our own people. We have to act and not sit there while this guy praised suicide bombings.
In any case, I hope he gets the death penalty within 5 yrs.

This makes me even more so than that -
the youngest man and woman murdered:
Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah
Pvt. Francheska Velez, 21, of Chicago. She was pregnant.
These two had their WHOLE lives ahead of them, and one was about to bring a new life into this world.

His terrorist motive is obvious to everyone but the press and the Army brass.

Appearing on the Today Show in January 2008, McGraw said that he has made it "very clear" that his current work does not involve the practice of psychology. He also said that he had "retired from psychology."[14] According to the Today Show, the California Board of Psychology determined in 2002 that he did not require a license because his show involves "entertainment," rather than psychology.[15]
