Saw the movie while on vacation last month in SoCal. Take the movie for what it is...entertainment, and I was very entertained. As far as Scoobie sightings, in the first garage race/party, a girls butt is slapped right in front of a WRB Subaru with its hood up.

Maybe I'm the only one whom meantions this but did anyone else cringe when they put a nissan engine into a mustang? Maybe it's just me since I was raised by a muscle car family. Though I'll take my evo over a mustang. Other then that, better then the second movie. I still like the first.

And Id take 500whp at 7K rpm from a supercharged 302 over 500whp from an 8.5K RB26 any day of the week for powerband, old school rules BAYBEE!!
You took the words right out of my mouth, Krinkov. I remember an article (I'll try and find it, but one could just look up the indevidual specs to prove it's right) comparing the LS7 7.0L (OHV) from the C6 Z06 to the twin turbo V8 (DOHC) in Porsche Cayanne. Though the LS7 has larger displacement implying it is a larger engine it actually has smaller outside dimensions than the porsche unit, weighs less, produces more power (500+ vs. 450), and is more efficient with fuel; all of this with no turbos. Go figure.
