I dont know how costco does it but i think my membership has paid for itself with what i saved over another gas station.

The only thing that bothers me is where they are getting their gas that makes it 4.32. I mean seriously $.40 cheaper. My car still runs well on it. i dont notice any spool lag or shotty performance. drives the same as if i put shell in her.

Anyone with any inside info? Or is costco just the way to go. hell the 87 was only 4.11 <--- *laughs at saying only 4.11 for regular*

If i hit $70 my wife says she gets to drive the subie and i have to drive the prius. I drive 75 miles round trip to work she drives 9. But when i drive the prius i feel like a douche bag. I dont even look at other drivers. When i get stuck at a light i slouch down and hide. I feel ashamed to be in that car. And she doesnt even have the car pool ok stickers. It is just so much better being in my rex. people look at it in awe, not like i am a loser in a prius. Please be 69.99 or lower.

Just did the math. i think i am f***ed. If i cant make it to costco and have to go to chevron. assuming the gas prices didnt raise over night, which they probably did.

And assuming that i have to fill up 15 of my 15.8 gallon tank like i think i do.

$4.71/gal x 15/gals = 70.65 x wife˛ ± prius = ****ED IN THE ***!!!!!!!!!

Who the **** cares if you look like a lame *** in the prius.. being sonoma county.. they probably drive in big ol ford f-gay-50's and get 10mpg... who is the real loser? the guy in the prius getting the good gas mileage or the guy in the lame *** big truck holding his wallet upside down and shaking it to get some gas.

These outrageous gas prices are yet another reason I can't wait to get back underway. Well that and being in dry dock sucks. My car sitting for 2 and 1/2 months on the island and not paying for gas and tolls >>>>>>>>>> being in the states. Hopefully gas prices will be lower after I get back from my next patrol.

Depending on the time of day and traffic, you gotta ask yourself if it's really worth ~$6 to deal with that. On routine fillups, yeah - totally - but once? Nah...

haha yeah, but the OP was talking how he was going to try and make it to the nearest costco, right now with his tank being on E.

Yeah, let me spend $20k or so on a more fuel efficient car so that I can start saving a couple bucks a month in gas!

Costco is still about $.20 cheaper then the other good gas station around my house. It is like a 10 mile drive to Costco, but I try to get something to eat there too. Make it a doouble fill-up yadadamean? It was $4.36 a gallon. Speaking of gas rices, what is everyones mileage looking like these days? I am running on COBB's Stage 2 program and averaging 20-21mpg right now. That includes both granny shifting and high rev, big corner driving too. I tend to cruise at 75 or so on the freeway also.

Just paid 4.28 for supreme at 76, but I'm in So Cal right now. I'm getting ~ 24.5 mpg driving like a granny, shifting at the normal 3k, and cruise controlling 65 on the freeways.
